Maungawhau / Mt Eden

Maungawhau / Mt Eden은 문화적·지질학적으로 매우 중요한 휴화산입니다. Auckland 지협에서 가장 중요한 유럽 정착 이전의 pā(요새 마을) 유적 중 하나로, 경사면에는 오늘날에도 뚜렷이 보이는 단구와 저장 구덩이 등 대규모 토공 유적이 남아 있습니다. 이 산은 현지 이위(부족)에게 신성한 조상의 산입니다.
